Commissioner James L. Henley, Jr. is a native of Jackson, Mississippi, USA is a Certified Public Accountant, an attorney and holds a certification in Financial Forensics from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a Bankruptcy Trustee for the Southern District of Mississippi. Henley is a past President of the Magnolia Bar Association and Magnolia Bar Foundation. In addition to his financial and legal careers, he serves as pastor of Fresh Start Christian Church and is a life member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Henley is well known for his extensive work developing, mentoring, and advocating for inner-city youth. He and his wife, Vivian, have four children.
